Overview
This unit spent four years in the obstetrics and abdominal imaging department of a tier-3 hospital in Jiangsu. It was retired in mid-2025 when the department moved to a newer platform, not because of a fault.
Single owner. Covered by a manufacturer service contract until 2024, with the full maintenance log. No major repairs on record. The battery and trackball were replaced at intake.
On our phantom, image quality with the convex probe is indistinguishable from a new unit. There is a 2 cm scuff on the right-hand handle, and it's in photo 4. I'd put this in a busy maternity ward without hesitation.
